A curated selection of the design industry's key exhibitions and festivals for the rest of the year, arranged by date with direct links to registration and tickets. Programme details and exhibitor lists are confirmed closer to each date on the organizers' own websites.
Dubai Design Week — with Downtown Design and Editions
The Middle East's leading design festival: over 200 events — installations, workshops, talks, plus the Abwab and Urban Commissions programmes. Within the week, Downtown Design (4–8 November) runs as a commercial fair for contemporary design with around 300 brands from more than 35 countries (furniture, lighting, textiles, interior objects), alongside Editions — a regional fair for limited-edition design and collectible art.
The main festival programme is free to attend. Downtown Design and Editions require tickets.
Big 5 Global
The region's largest construction exhibition: finishing and cladding materials, engineering solutions, smart buildings. This year it runs for the first time alongside new sections — LiveableCitiesX, Geo World and Future FM — plus the established Urban Design & Landscaping track. Most relevant if you're sourcing materials and suppliers for a project rather than finished interior collections.
Visitor registration wasn't open yet at the time of writing — only a reminder sign-up was available.
Sole DXB
Not a design exhibition in the narrow sense — a landmark youth-culture festival spanning music, fashion and art — but staged within d3 and traditionally paired with art installations and brand activations across the design district. A good reason to pass through d3 during Dubai Shopping Festival.
